The very temperature-resistant special grease for gearboxes that I tested is really also suitable for long-term use. Molybdenum(IV) sulphite (also MoS2) as an admixture is very similar to graphite and even (or unfortunately) electrically conductive. Whereby it does not depend here on gliding ability. In my basement locker and on my car this stuff has proven itself for years, now it has to compete in cooling.
Chapeau! With a maximum of 63.5 °C after 15 minutes, the special grease is also fat in business and not much worse than the tested thermal paste. Also nothing runs out and the distribution of the blob when tightening is really optimal. But it smells a bit like the engine room of a steamship.
Only that with the admixture is then similarly as with the paste such a thing. There are nasty stains on evening wear, so be careful! But as a thermal paste replacement, it’s really a safe bet. And yet it goes even better!
