Now that this step is complete, the heart may move in. This is where my beloved friend Ryzen 7 5800X3D comes into play. I am still a big fan of this CPU which is dropping in price more and more and which still offers excellent performance and can keep up with current AM5 CPUs. Except for the debacle with the voltages, but bygones be bygones….
The CPU of course also wants to be cooled and since I install a small custom loop in which only the CPU is cooled here comes the EK Velocity2 to use of course also in the Noctua look. Also this block I have disassembled, painted and engraved.
