Admittedly, I’ve never gone over a case so quickly, since everything is set up so that you don’t have to disassemble anything. Unpack, put it down, open the doors, and install the hardware – it could always be this easy. And now we get to the hardware. As usual, I’ll start with the motherboard. However, since I wanted to pick up on the Noctua theme, I thought of something special. Without further ado I gave the MSI B550 mATX Mortar WIFI the Noctua style.
For this I got a can of acrylic-based spray paint at my local hardware store. Color shade chocolate brown. Important note: At this point I have to express my thanks to Dubaro, who provided me with the board for this build (together with MSI).
After removing all the heatsinks and carefully treating them with fine sandpaper, I was able to apply the paint to the now bare components.
To further emphasize the Noctua theme, I also put the parts under my laser and gave them a fine embossed pattern.
