Efficiency Normal, Light & Super-Light Loads
The platform is efficient with light and super light loads. However, it could perform better with normal and high loads.
Average Efficiency 5VSB
The 5VSB circuit needs an efficiency boost at 115V.
Vampire Power
The power required by a power supply in standby mode is called vampire or phantom power because it is consumed without the power supply doing anything. This current is mostly lost via the 5VSB circuit of the power supply. The vampire power is low enough.
Average efficiency
The average efficiency is not high, as this platform is mainly used for light loads.
PFC (Power Factor Correction)
A power factor correction filter increases the power factor reduced by the distortion reactive power, because it reduces the proportion of disturbing harmonics and thus also the mains load. The APFC converter does exactly what it is supposed to do here.
