Summary
Large, powerful, visually eye-catching, relatively quiet and cool, as well as really fast. The overclocking potential is not only present, but even quite neat. The power supply can please, even if things like the three 8-pin connectors are actually superfluous like a goat and only cause additional problems, because a decent power supply with two 6+2-pin connectors is actually easy enough. There are three Molex-to-8-pin adapters in the package, but in the end this is just ugly cosmetics. Two 8-pin jacks would have been easy.
The thing with the display has a certain charm, which is even difficult to escape when you stand on such gimmicks. In addition, there is also the very extensive accessories, including the illuminated plexiglass panel for the side window. However, we would have expected a graphics card holder with a combat weight of more than 1.6 kilos.
What sounds really good for Snow White, of course, also has smaller downsides. On the one hand, there is the somewhat unhappy and virtually absent hysteresis and on the other hand the quite warming of the VRM for the memory in the stress test at full memory utilization, which is not at all practical. The card could also have been clocked a little higher to the customer, but one has probably simply saved the GPU selection and searched for the lowest denominator, which is always stable possible. So one can assume that the lottery season is in full swing again.
Conclusion
Despite the individual criticisms, it was enough in the end, albeit narrowly, for the purchase tip, which was mainly accounted for by performance and optics or unique features. Nevertheless, you have to be aware of what you build for a block in the PC, because length, listening and weight must also be mastered. This is not only the relatively high price that is likely to limit the target group a little.
However, if you are looking for optical LED and LCD broadband food, you will find it here to a degree that will be hard to beat. Whether it naturally meets the taste of the reader is up to everyone. The Galax/KFA2 GeForce GTX 1080 Ti HOF is definitely polarizing and that's a good thing.
