Benchmarks in Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels)
This time we have deliberately made a slightly different selection of games, which also save us non-practical games with applications forcibly reduced to 720p, because even with full HD, games limited by the CPU are more often played in free than you might like.
We have also consciously decided to completely test the entire selection and to dispense with higher resolutions and other graphics cards due to the time that has become somewhat short. Of course, we are aware that the Ryzen 5 1500X and 1600X are usually provided with a different graphics card in normal life, so that we can of course still expect post-tests from our side, because AFTER all, AMD's new RX5xx series is already in the starting blocks!
Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation
Ashes actually sums up the ryzen 5 1500X dilemma quite well when it comes to core-scaling applications. While at least Intel's Core i5-7600K can still gallantly pull itself out of the affair due to its high bar, the Ryzen 5 1500X does not even help SMT with its original clock. Only with the maximum overclocking of 3.9 GHz can it reach the core i5-7600K. But this can also be overclocked – and the result then speaks volumes.
The Ryzen 5 1600X, on the other hand, gives the significantly better figure in such applications. If you're sure that the future lies in more scalable games, or that you're already preferring certain genres that benefit more from more cores, you should go straight to the Ryzen 5 1600X if the Ryzen 7 family is too expensive for them.

Battlefield 1
The picture looks a little different this time, because many of the CPUs in fullHD resolution already cause GPU limitation. But the min frame rates and the frametime gradients are interesting, because average FPS numbers are not everything! Nevertheless, even the Ryzen 5 1500X runs, purely subjectively perceived, butter-soft, which looked quite different before the Creators Update of Windows 10!
