AMD Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X in test – office toy and toy pea against Intel’s Budget-Core

Full HD and low details

Even in the opening credits of the game, Intel advertises the 9th-century Core logo. Generation, so you can be excited. 6 real cores without hyper-things against 8 threads of the Ryzens. Let’s first look at the low-settings and marvel.  The supposed glory of the Core i5-9400 is blown away and he can still be glad that the limited Ryzen 3 3100 does not blow it away! A nutshell with a CPU that costs even twice as much as the Ryzen 3100.

Up to the RX 5600, the Ryzen 3 3100 and the Core i5-9400 can still keep up quite well, then it gets tighter. Starting with the GeForce RTX 2060, further performance gains are almost completely over. And what does the Ryzen 3 3300X do? It almost penetratively annoys the large R9 3950X and sticks it to the hoe like a pickled old chewing gum. Hats off! Because even the 99. Percentile is just as good as the big Ryzen 9 overfather.

Full HD and high details

If we screw the settings a little higher, then the importance of the graphics hardware increases again somewhat and even the two slower CPUs can still record increases.

This is also beautifully illustrated by the curve with the performance gains. But this 129-euro CPU is really a real little racing bunch, as long as you can get by with 6-8 threads.

Full HD and Ultra-Settings

Now the CPU plays only a minor role and everything scales beautifully with the GPU performance! the Intel Core i5-9400 feels more like the bottom pane of the topping in the Ryzen sandwich. Finely positioned on the Ryzen 3 3100, which serves as the lower half of the AMD folding bun.

The performance curves reinforce this picture and you can also see that here the Ryzen 3 3300X with the Ryzen 9 3950X marches hand in hand into the sunrise. Concord instead of contempt, one can really leave like this.
