AMD Ryzen 3 3100 and Ryzen 3 3300X in test – office toy and toy pea against Intel’s Budget-Core

Full HD and low details

Well, so the reactor won’t explode right away, but the game will benefit from more cores than just four or six. The Ryzen 9 3950X, back in normal Creator mode with all 16 cores, shows the rest the taillights (which a Core i9-9900K would have done the same). But the real surprise is that the Ryzen 3 3300X with its four cores and eight threads distances the Core i5-9400 as clearly as this one the Ryzen 3 3100, which again and as always forms the final light.

As far as the scaling of the GPUs is concerned, all CPUs above the GeForce RTX 2060 use something of a buckling, with only the Ryzen 3 3100 ruling out almost any increase above and resolutely destroying it. Even the Ryzen 3 3300X still has slight growth here, well!

If you shift the load towards the GPU, all CPUs will see significant increases up to the fastest graphics card. However, the Ryzen 9 3950X can set itself off from the rest of the CPU test field at the latest from the Radeon RX 5700 XT. However, the fact that the AMD cards perform rather weakly here is due to the game and is only a side note.

This becomes even clearer with the performance curve, because the difference is visible and we also see a certain trend.

Full HD and extremely high details

Now even the largest core number no longer matters when the graphics card is limited. All CPUs are more or less close together and run almost together on a line to the finish.

This is also illustrated by the next graphic, where you can hardly see any differences until the GeForce RTX 2060.
