DLSS or FSR as a defibrillator against ventricular fibrillation in 1080p?
NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti’s raw performance is roughly on par with an RTX 2080 Super or an RTX 2080 Ti. That’s an astonishing amount of performance for a mid-range card, if you take the pure RRP of the mentioned cards as a basis. With the approx. 132 FPS, the card doesn’t really need any support via upscaling, but we want to know what else we can squeeze out of the card. Especially if the ventricular fibrillation is getting better!
Ok, best case scenario gives just under 60 FPS more on average. And AMD FSR has again won the performance crown. It’s not surprising after all!
Yeah, I can’t even set that up in Excel to see everything. Yes it does, but then you still see nothing at the end! In the end, this is the way I chose to present it. The peaks are missing, they are greater than 20 ms. Fact is, the RTX 3060 Ti doesn’t get old at this heart rate. That’s what the doctor would say about this!
All this green here, it can be deceptive. The variances are still coming!
I can assure you that you can feel those red bars. The jerks sometimes really huge and then it suddenly runs as if nothing had ever been. Maybe the new driver has already fixed the problem. If not, then NVIDIA’s driver team should take a look. It’s pretty annoying! Now off to the red camp – the RX 6700 XT is waiting.
