To top it off, I overclocked the RTX 3060 to the max, as well as undervolting the RTX 3070 to get some bonus measurements. The GeForce RTX 3060 ran at 2150/8400 MHz, the GeForce RTX 3070 at 1950/8100 MHz (boost clock/memory). The 3060 doesn’t scale at all in FHD with the OC, at least in these games. Here you can clearly see the limit due to the connection. It looks a bit better in UHD, and Watch Dogs also scales quite cleanly now.
With the RTX 3070 we see a similar picture, here I also put Anno in. There is little to nothing happening in FHD. In UHD, the card is already stuck in the bandwidth limit in WatchDogs, but since only the memory is overclocked in the RTX 3070 and the core clock is more or less the same as in the Trio, the results are within expectations. The synthetic benchmarks scale well so far, but unfortunately do not help much in everyday use. That’s why I didn’t include them here.
