I was certainly a bit hasty with the announcement of the PowerColor RX 6900XT Liquid Devil at the time, because the card had already been here in the lab for some time and was also fully tested at that time. Since some coolers from EKWB (mine was not one of them) showed slight weaknesses in the finish, PowerColor has simply recalled all cards again and had them replaced (respect!). The result is really something to be proud of and now all sides have something to gain from it.
PowerColor can be sure to have created a very exceptional card, EKWB can sleep better again and we just start all over. The reader will be pleased in the end, even if these specimens will probably always remain unattainable. But it’s like the auto show: everyone runs to it and then makes long teeth. Instead, I present you a graphics card of a very special kind, because the card itself is a visual (and electrical) treat!
Since you have to use a custom loop cooling, the accessories also turn out accordingly. PowerColor adds a nice PCB ruler (not necessary, but stylish) and EKWB three mini bottles of dye for the coolant (completely unnecessary). The two plugs for closing the unused sides on the terminal (absolute necessary) are unfortunately left out for this. Strange and a bit illogical, but there it is like the RGB. The main thing is colorful, the rest is overrated anyway. But even here the skilled plumber will have enough parts in stock. Small stuff, but it’s holding something up.
Before we start the rest of the picture gallery, let’s quickly take a look at the key data from GPU-Z, because the reader is also interested in that:
