It has been quite a while since I last tested a keyboard from MSI and the difference to the last model could hardly be bigger. The Vigor GK30 tried out at that time was clearly intended for beginners with membrane switches and a low price; here, one now rather turns to the other end of the spectrum. The following article will tell you whether this keyboard can look more than just chic. However, I have to make a small preliminary remark, because this keyboard has unfortunately been a bit late on the market.
So today I present you something that at the moment (like so much else) is not yet available for purchase. It was planned differently, but could not be changed at short notice. But this is not a catastrophe, because it is coming soon, just not now and today. But today you could already inform yourself and also get appetite, depending on how the test turns out. However, the keyboard is interesting enough not to postpone the review again now. If it comes then in the stores, I will of course not leave you in the dark about it and update the article.
Packaging and scope of delivery
Not much has changed in the box design, they continue to rely on a lot of white with some black accents and a clear focus on the product itself, which can be admired in all colors on the big picture.
On the back, the specifications and various features are then advertised as usual in the industry, especially with the “MSI Sonic Red” buttons they want to stand out.
Inside the box, the Vigor GK71 is protected on the left and right by sturdy foam pieces while cardboard spacers on the top and bottom keep everything in place.
The contents include the keyboard itself, a matching palm rest, and a plastic and wire keycap pully. Unlike many other keyboards I’ve tested recently, the USB cable here is fixed and not detachable.
