Metro Exodus – The great RTX ON and Off benchmark for the GeForce RTX 2060, 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti with DLSS analysis and more | igorsLAB

Metro Exodus promises to be one of the blockbusters of 2019. In today's article, however, I do not want to judge the game itself, but only its "technological" aspect. Precisely because Metro Exodus had much more time for RTX On than for Battlefield V. Ray Tracing, DLSS, but also Advanced PhysX and HairWorks. But how does it work in practice? This detailed analysis will make it possible to find out exactly that.

GeForce RTX 2070 – Full HD with 1920 x 1080 pixels

The average FPS of the GeForce RTX 2070 with RT High without DLSS are high enough to play an end-time sluger even without DLSS, because the image is much crisper. One also accepts the slightly weaker values of the Min-FPS, because it still hops slightly, but the hares of just have mostly calmed down again. With a GeForce RTX 2070, Full HD can be twitched even with RT at High.

GeForce RTX 2070 – QHD with 2560 x 1440 pixels

QHD is also the automatic door stopper when deactivated DLSS. Nice, you get ahead, but it jerks like hell in places. I recommend a look at the frametimes and variances. It won't be like that. With DLSS it's time to do it again, if you're not too fat. Without RT, the game doesn't go away, but it's going a bit faster. But even then it won't be really fast.
