Metro Exodus – The great RTX ON and Off benchmark for the GeForce RTX 2060, 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti with DLSS analysis and more | igorsLAB

Metro Exodus promises to be one of the blockbusters of 2019. In today's article, however, I do not want to judge the game itself, but only its "technological" aspect. Precisely because Metro Exodus had much more time for RTX On than for Battlefield V. Ray Tracing, DLSS, but also Advanced PhysX and HairWorks. But how does it work in practice? This detailed analysis will make it possible to find out exactly that.

GeForce RTX 2080 – Full HD with 1920 x 1080 pixels and QHD with 2560 x 1440 pixels

In Full HD it works with the GeForce RTX 2080 with RT and without hoppelhas, without RT anyway. You can give yourself DLSS, because without it the picture is simply crisper. Under QHD, however, you have to weigh this up again, because the Min-FPS with RT are not really bounced. Then either with DLSS or a stronger card. The rest is as usual. With DLSS, the car gets a kick, but it looks a bit spongier.

GeForce RTX 2080 – Ultra HD with 3840 x 2160 pixels

Ultra-HD is also a real fun brake, because if I am to be honest, this is not for my taste. The average FPS mislead us into the fact that it is simply running unrounded in places. Here, too, it is worth looking at the individual graphics and frametimes below.
