KFA2 RTX 2060 Super EX 1-Click OC Review – Good things doesn’t have to be expensive

The fan stop works, the card also shows the starting pulse very clean, which can also be recognized nicely by the curves. The hysteresis was revised here (even after my criticism) in contrast to the RTX 2070 EX and above all the shut-off temperature was lowered to make the fan run better and more stable. The speeds are well below 1500 rpm even after full heating even in the closed housing, which remains very pleasant acoustically.

 

 

 

Let’s look at the measured values again in direct comparison to the Founders Edition as a tabular listing:

Sound Spectrum

The measured 37.5 dB(A) is based on the measured 1412 rpm in the closed housing. We have applied the same gaming load to the open set-up in the measuring room, but the fans are limited to approx. fixed at 1400 rpm in order to be able to adjust this value exactly. The result is audibly below the level of the Founders Edition, whereby the cooling with similar power consumption is significantly better.

The soundscape is present and you can also perceive and measure a few (low-frequency) motor noises for the quite pleasant noise (see peaks on the spectral analysis at the top left). The noise comes from the turbulence of the rotor blades and is defined by the noise of the two fans. You could throttle the fans even further by setting the target temperature to 75°C.
