Interior construction
So let’s venture inside, which we can easily access after loosening the four screws on the underside.
A thermal pad connects the built-in SSD with the aluminum plate, which can serve as a passive heat sink. This time, however, there is no option to expand the memory via a 2.5″ drive.
The RAM and SSD come from well-known manufacturers, in this case a single ADATA CBDAD5S480016G-B DDR5 SO-DIMM stick and a Lexar NM620 NVMe 4.0 SSD. The LAN connection isoperated by a Realtek 8168/8111 chip, while wireless communication via WiFi6 and Bluetooth 5.2 is controlled by an RTL8852BE WLAN card.
Once again, a notebook-style cooler dissipates the heat from the processor. With a specified TDP of just 6 watts, there are unlikely to be any complications with the temperature, but I will test this separately later.
