Gainward GeForce RTX 2060 Super Ghost 8 GB review – How good is the RTX entry in cheap? | Profile

Summary and conclusion

As we can also see in the video about the cards, the “small” RTX is already really fun with not too high resolutions. However, the operating noise also penetrates to my ears, so that I am torn a bit. The small cooler creates the load just like that, but large reserves do not remain there. Of course, you could put on a little hand yourself, but even then the result is a little louder than quiet. But what you also have to attest to is the fact that the temperatures never get into critical areas, even if they were bought by the fan speeds.

There is nothing about this card, which does not allow any room for the Power Limit. In this way, however, it also protects itself and the user from himself, which I do not see as a margin for large clock increases. Nevertheless, with a little luck in the GPU lottery you still manage up to 2 GHz, which is quite enough. Because even if it might have been 10% more performance, a GeForce RTX 2070 Super isn’t hitting it. But you get the “old” RTX 2070 FE on the pelle, after all.

And otherwise? The card does exactly what it is supposed to do without suffering from snapping or heatstrokes. The assembly of the components and the board layout are very convenient, but cost-effective. This circumstance can and must certainly be accepted in view of the retail price. With this, the card gets my ok, even if it is not an overflyer. But does it really have to be? The concept pushes them more into the corner of the price-conscious and thrifty. And that’s where she feels comfortable, without having to be the biggest bargain. Let’s call it solid without being emotionally big.

You can live with that, no question. So Palit did a lot of things right and hardly anything wrong. The remaining maps from the video will follow promptly, of course, but also an article has to be written first. But I’m good at that.
