Look and feel
Once we have freed everything from the packaging and bags, we can take a first look at the AIO water cooling system. You may already notice the obvious similarity with another AIO.
That’s right, it is of course the unusual 8-pin connector on the fans, which we last saw in the review of the EK Nucleus CR360 Lux. These are then later converted back into a somewhat more usable 4-pin PWM and 3-pin aRGB split using an adapter cable.
Apart from that, you have of course not overlooked the relatively large fan, which is intended to cool the voltage converters.
On the short side of the radiator without hoses is the opening for refilling the coolant if necessary.
Although thermal paste is included in the scope of delivery, some is applied to the copper coldplate at the factory. Incidentally, the size of the contact surface is 55x55mm.
Despite some striking features such as the pump block, I would still describe the overall impression as relatively simple, and this Liqmaxflo should be visually harmonious in most systems.
But enough about outward appearances, as we all know, it’s the inner values that count. And we have plenty of values on the next page!
