Volume flow (throughput) in m³h
The black bar is the specification from the data sheet, which we check with at this point. Let’s first start with the value for m3 per hour, which is more common in Germany, and compare the individual installation variants from pure case fans to use on 60 mm radiators. You can see that the fan exceeds the targets very clearly in the open setup and without radiators and can beat the reference in all other installation variants and speeds.
By the way, it really gets interesting at the lower speeds! Because the Corsair Corsair iCUE ML120 RGB ELITE does not let itself be impressed and even at only 500 rpm (DC-controlled!) still acts absolutely usable and slightly better than the reference! But, this is important, at the end we will evaluate the speeds in relation to the sound level and the volume flow achieved, and we will find out some amazing things. So it remains quite exciting, because speed is not equal to speed!
Volume flow (throughput) in cfm
The whole again in cfm. However, since only the unit of measurement changes, what has already been said for the airflow applies to the same extent.
