Three new graphics cards based on the RDNA 3 GPU architecture have been discovered in the EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) database: the Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700 and the RX 7600 XT. The entries come from a relatively small AIB based in the Asia-Pacific region called ARKTEK. However, ARKTEK does not currently produce cards based on the RDNA 3 GPUs, so caution is advised when interpreting this information. However, various cards from other manufacturers are said to be under discussion, but an NDA usually prohibits editorial staff from writing about them publicly.
The AMD Radeon RX 7800 and RX 7700 could most likely be slimmed-down versions of their XT siblings, which have already been on the market for several months. If these cards are indeed real, one could expect around 10-15% lower performance and slight differences in price. The radeon RX 7600XT together with the RX 7700 would also close the gap between the RX 7600 and the RX 7700XT.
AMD recently announced the Radeon RX 7600 XT, although so far only the non-XT model has been released. The XT version could either be a higher clocked variant of the Navi 33 GPU or based on the Navi 32 GPU core, but with a much reduced configuration. Although AMD is finished with its RDNA 3 GPU ASICs, the company could still expand the product line in this form in the future.
NVIDIA’s competition will become active in the coming months with the launch of the GeForce SUPER cards, which are designed to compete with the Radeon RX 7800 XT and RX 7900 XT graphics cards. In the end, however, it remains to be seen whether AMD will really introduce so many new cards or lower the prices of existing variants in order to position them against the new competitors from NVIDIA. Additionally, listings for the RX 7950 XTX, RX 7950 XT and RX 7500 XT have also been spotted, as well as recent listings for an RX 7850 XT, 7750 XT and 7650 XT GPUs (also at EEC), but there is no information yet on whether these potential “refresh” cards will be commercially available in the near future.
