AMD has withdrawn support for Anti-Lag in all supported games due to reports of incidents and bans caused by anti-cheat software and game crashes. In their latest driver, Adrenalin 23.10.2, the Anti-Lag feature has been disabled. It was confirmed that Anti-Lag was the main reason for lockups in popular eSports titles like Counter-Strike 2. Other games such as Apex Legends, OverWatch 2 and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 also had similar issues. However, AMD is working to find a solution and re-enable anti-lag support in the games.
AMD has secondly released the latest Adrenalin 23.10.2 drivers, which completely disable Anti-Lag from supported games. This decision was made as a solution to the ongoing issues. However, the company has also stated that they are working with game developers on a solution to re-enable Anti-Lag support in games and help gamers who were affected by the anti-cheat lockouts. AMD did this in response to complaints from gamers who were affected by anti-cheat lockouts and complained about Anti-Lag being disabled.
However, disabling Anti-Lag will not affect game performance. AMD continues to work on finding a solution to re-enable Anti-Lag in games. The release of the latest Adrenalin 23.10.2 drivers is good news for all AMD users. While the disabling of Anti-Lag is temporary, it is encouraging to see that AMD is actively working on a solution to fix the issue.

AMD is actively working with game developers on a resolution to re-enable Anti-Lag and to help reinstate gamers who were impacted by the anti-cheat bans.
