Summary and conclusion
As mentioned at the beginning, the entire case feels valuable and well-made. The use of metal where possible and the modern design of the 3D perforated plates have resulted in a well-coordinated product that is also convincing under the hood. Worth mentioning here are the power supply mounting, as well as the very well done cable management. My EDA machine consists of an MSI Z490 Gaming Plus board, an Intel Core i5 10600K under a Dark Rock Pro 4 and a GTX 2070.
All components find their place in the case, without getting a touch of claustrophobia. Thus, the case is also suitable for one or the other PC on water cooling basis, but then you have to do without radiators on the top. If you let the fans suck in the front and blow out the top and back according to the laws of thermodynamics, the airflow in the case also stands out very positively. When transplanting the components, one immediately notices in the Meshify Compact that all the parts mesh perfectly and the CAD department at Fractal has done a great job here. For me personally, it is one of the best, more compact cases in recent years.
