System construction
Once the last piece of foam has been removed, the computer can be assembled. The enclosed instructions recommend first removing the removable cable cover. Again, this is very easy and can be done without tools. A Ryzen 5 3600, MSI B550i Gaming Edge Wifi, 2x 8GB Corsair LPX DDR4 and an MSI GTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z are installed.
Once all the necessary cables have been attached to the power supply unit, the mainboard can then be installed. With my AM4 socket, I can then simply mount the AiO afterwards, with Intel sockets, the pump head and the required backplate should ideally already be mounted outside the housing.
Then connect the various power and data cables. I would also pay attention to proper cable management and use the various eyelets for cable ties so that nothing hangs in the way.
The previously removed strut is reinstalled, and at this point at the latest, wildly flying cables can be adapted to your own needs for tidiness.
And the installation of the graphics card continues on the other side.
Despite the rather compact overall size, even bulky graphics cards such as this RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z can be easily accommodated.
The computer is almost finished, only the side covers are still missing.
You can find pictures of the finished system on the last page, but first let’s take a look at the results of the stress tests on the next page.
