Unboxing
The packaging creates anticipation as you can already see exactly what to expect. But we just had that. What counts is what’s inside. So out with it!
After inspecting the case for the first time, I couldn’t find any defects. The good workmanship and pleasant feel convinced me right from the start. Well, it’s not a cheap phone. There is a dust filter at the back that can be removed from the outside and blends in nicely with the overall look, and there is also a dust filter at the bottom that can be pulled out to the front.
The 3 mm thick front panel can be detached from the housing by pressing on the upper edge and removing it upwards. Thanks to the tool-free disassembly, this is also very easy and trouble-free.
The two side panels can then be easily removed to the front and provide a clear view into the interior of the Tower 300, where the beautiful Thermaltake logo has also found its place.
The two side panels are held magnetically to the case and, with their open structure, offer enough permeability to allow the AIO and GPU to breathe deeply. They are equipped with magnetic dust filters to protect against dust and there is also a removable holder for fans/radiators on the right-hand side, which makes it easy to install them outside the case.
Behind the rear panel are the removable power supply bay and the brackets for 3 SSD/HDDs and under the top cover, which unfortunately has to be removed every time to access the mainboard connections, are the 2 pre-installed 140 mm fans and the control panel, which is firmly screwed to the tower.
