All three new Ryzen CPUs with 3D V-cache are now correctly detected by the software thanks to the update (2021.12.31.117) and the update brings further optimizations for hybrid (asymmetric) L3 cache designs. The update scope also includes the third 8-core model, which is supposed to be launched next month and will not be hybrid.
Sandra is a benchmark suite for CPU and GPU tests. This comprehensive tool focuses on many complex algorithms that can be useful for scientific work. Whether the Ryzen 7000X3D is a CPU for such purposes is another story.
Also, Intel Core 13th Gen series are now further supported by the update, including H, P and U mobile series. In addition, the CUDA SDK, which is used by the integrated GPU benchmark, has been updated. The development team behind the software has published its test data of the 7950X3D processor. However, it should be noted that this test is not based on their data, but rather a collection of results from other testers who have shared the data with them. Nonetheless, it is interesting to see all this data summarized in one article.
