Raijintek Enyo in Review – Airy Hardware Bunker for Strong Arms and Lots of Inside | igorsLAB

Life is sometimes quite difficult. Especially the inner workings, when it comes to lifting an already monstrous housing like the Raijintek Enyo, packed with hardware, onatable. Then you quickly get over 30 kilos together and you really wonder where they actually come from. For the most part, of course, also from the solid housing with the heavy glass fronts, but not only. The question arises as to how to test such a big block. Right, you just build a hearty PC with it.

The Enyo is such a small world in itself. Well, what does small mean, it's already half a universe. You could also pack two computers in with ease, because there would be enough space, even for a second power supply. And so my plan to install an EATX motherboard and rely on a 360 all-in-one water cooling quickly faltered when I saw the void that still prevailed after all the hardware was installed. Then it would be better to have a custom loop, if only for the CPU.

In order to make everything thematically suitable, I largely used components of Raijintek and Aorus, all of which were in the archive. It hasn't become completely pure, because you also need a power supply, memory and data carrier, but at least almost, you leave these things aside. It goes without saying that I recorded all this on video and documented Step by Step. But before assemin, let's come back to the housing for a moment.

Including glass and all screws, this chunk already weighs 21.5 kilograms, but what happens when you fill the 70.7 cm deep, 65.9 cm high and 39.8 cm wide housing with precious fabric? Then another 10 kilos come on it, water included. At least. It is the Classic Open Frame, but in the middle there are almost 2 frames of 3 mm thick aluminium, which are separated from each other again with spacers. On these two "base plates" you can then distribute what you think is absolutely necessary for the PC.

In fact, only artisanal (or financial) limits are set to faith. And yes, the part is still surprisingly stable for the called weight after assembly, but also not 100% torsion-resistant. There are also the steel parts as fittings, which the manufacturer specifies with a thickness of 2 mm. However, this is not entirely true, because I could only measure 1.8 mm with a precision slider, whereby you can also measure approx. 0.2 mm for powder coating.

Which brings me back to the torsion stiffness, because some people had already approached me about the water cooling. Very clear answer: Hardtubing in this case only makes sense if you no longer have to move it large after filling and also do not have to fix parts of the water cooling on one of the attachments. The risk of pipes slipping out of the fittings by chance would be too great for me personally. That's why I consciously take "only" hose, because I have to be able to move this monster.

The best overview of the possibilities is the assembly instructions, which I simply hang in the article. This is self-explanatory and it also shows that hurdles can also arise, of which one does not know at first. I have provided my feedback to the manufacturer on some points and I am sure that we will also see an optimized model of the Enyo at Computex. The next page will show what I have devised as a workaround and where there is still a need. But it's more of a side note that could be solved. But back to the plan, here it is:

InstallationGuide-Enyo

This is quite brutal and you need one thing in addition to the necessary muckis: a lot of space! I already wrote it that I documented the complete construction also on video. And before I dedicate myself to the details of the setup with workarounds and tips on the next page, you should treat yourself to the half-hour video. And if you want to know how I sweated, you can count the number of clothing changes. Even if there are no smell videos, the part is and remains a sweaty block, albeit in beautiful. At first it was all so tame…

There are no surprises with the specifications, but I still have important information about the front assembly in order to avoid possible errors, because the installation depths for radiators I determined differ significantly from those of the manufacturer. But that's on the next page. First of all, the tabular CV of Enyo:
