MSI is not the only company taking its time with announcing its own Radeon RX 7000 cards, Dataland and Vastarmor, two Chinese graphics card manufacturers, have not even released or announced any Radeon RX 7900 XT or RX 7900 XTX custom designs yet. And that is already one month after these SKUs were introduced by AMD. Interestingly, both companies were on board with the launch of the Radeon RX 6000 and RX 6×50 from day one. And now?

Dataland, also known for its X-Serial GPU series, is often found on e-commerce sites in China. These are heavily customized designs with additional factory overclocking. The absence of Dataland’s Radeon RX 7900 GPU means that the company has also not yet participated in the production of its own “semi-custom” design with AMD MBA (Made by AMD) reference cooling, and be it at least with its own packaging. This has always been the case with the GPUs of the last generation so far:

AMD Radeon RX 7900 Series graphics cards are expected to be available from AMD.com beginning December 13, 2022, and from leading board partners including ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX and Yeston beginning mid-December. The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX has a SEP of $999 USD, while the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT has a SEP of $899 USD.
– AMD PR, 11/03/2022
It should be noted that Vastarmor was even part of the Radeon RX 6950 XT launch, so high-end GPU is not a new concept for this company either. We can hope to hear more from both GPU manufacturers about their plans for the Radeon 7000 series. Both companies could of course now simply wait for AMD to announce more affordable RDNA3 GPUs, which unfortunately has not been the case yet.
