Mountain Everest Max? Normally, it’s rare to hear anything good about products featured on Kickstarter and similar platforms. However, the small startup Mountain from Freiburg was not only able to raise enough money and even reach stretch goals, but also deliver in the end. How the Everest keyboard performs in everyday use and whether it can live up to its lofty name can be found out in the following article.
Packaging and scope of delivery
The really large box of the MAX variant tested here is impressive. The front is dominated by a hard-to-photograph “Reach Your Summit” lettering alone, then on the back there’s detailed information about the features on offer.
The box then opens like a small treasure chest with its drawers for the extra accessories.
But we will take a closer look at the special modules later, first of all the “normal” scope of delivery.
In addition to the small stands, alternative Esc keycap and various switches to try out, there is also a small tool and a high-quality USB cable included. By the way, you also get this scope of delivery if you buy the Core Edition of Mountain.
