Internal structure
The side is only held in place with magnets and is therefore easy to remove. Access to the SSD and RAM is completely tool-free.
MasonSemi provides the MC3000 mass storage with the 1TB NVMe 3.0 SSD, while the single 16GB stick of DDR4 RAM comes from Lexar, model PC4-3200AA-SA2.
Since the processor only supports one memory channel, the use of only one bar is fine. At the bottom right you can see the WLAN chip, a Realtek RTL8852BE with support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

As usual, a notebook-style cooler dissipates the heat generated, but I find the strange round recess in the housing much more interesting. I wonder what it’s for?
Incidentally, both LAN connections are each powered by a Realtek RTL8168/8111.
