Having already tested and presented several 3D printers here, it was only a matter of time before a scanner followed. After all, I can’t leave the field to Igor alone with his extremely high-resolution hardware scans. However, his devices are priced in a range that private individuals rarely reach. So what can you expect from an offer for a complete hobby package that costs less than a monthly installment of the professional scanners? According to the manufacturer, quite a lot, so let’s check these advertising claims!

Packaging and scope of delivery
The scanner is packed in three layers: the shipping box, the additional cardboard box inside and finally a practical fabric bag with carrying handle.
The promise of being able to take the Ferret Pro anywhere seems to have been kept.
The storage space inside is divided into two halves, one of which has a closable fabric grid.
In addition to all kinds of small parts and cables, there are also four foils with a total of 320 stickers.
The other half contains the large parts of the scanner, which can be used for various set-up options. More about this on the next page
