Conclusion
Basically, Corsair unleashes a very solid Chair Throne on the buyers with the TC200, which can fully score in terms of looks, feel and seating comfort. The faux-leather version I tested feels fantastic to the touch, and it’s the velour-like trim and accents that make the seat look like it was ripped straight out of a premium sporty car and mounted on the base of an office chair. So far, so euphoric. After all, it’s something more than just the next chair on the market to buy.
Regarding the base, however, I unfortunately have to get rid of my only real criticism, because the rocker mechanism seems a bit too plain for a chair in this price range and can’t even be locked in different settings. Now, with my weight, I am of course at the absolute limit of the chair and with a normal-weight person, the mechanics will certainly not be a weak point over time. But the limitation of not being able to lock different angles is actually incomprehensible in this price range.
Conclusion: This is a premium product for 389.99 Euros, which actually comes along almost flawlessly and can score with a sporty, noble look as well as a very good seating comfort. If you’re about 1.50 – 1.90 m tall, weigh between 50 and 100 kg and thus don’t necessarily need the locking mechanism I criticized, you can definitely be very happy with the TC200. Game of Thrones, but not for bobbing giants.
