ASUS ROG STRIX XG259QNS Gaming-Monitor with 380 Hz

The ASUS ROG series enjoys great popularity due to its performance, appealing design and user-oriented features. The new ROG STRIX XG259QNS is no exception and is aimed at “hardcore gamers” who want to maximize their in-game performance by using the equipment they already have. The XG259QNS features a 24.5-inch “Fast IPS” panel with a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080. Although some may criticize the choice of 1080p, it is important to emphasize that this monitor is designed exclusively for gaming purposes and the built-in features justify this statement.

The XG259QNS is a monitor with a refresh rate of 380Hz and a response time of 0.3ms. With support for VESA DisplayHDR 400, 110% sRGB color gamut and a contrast ratio of 1000:1, it offers the best for gamers. Although similar to other gaming-oriented monitors, the ROG STRIX XG259QNS stands out when it comes to offering the best to its consumers.

The monitor offers several features to enhance the gaming experience, including the integration of AMD FreeSync Premium technology to reduce screen tearing. Additionally, it features ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB SYNC) to eliminate ghosting and tearing. The combination of these features promises a premium gaming experience.

In terms of built-in connectivity, the ROG STRIX XG259QNS is equipped with 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A hubs and a headphone jack. There is no port with PD capabilities, but for an ideal “gaming” scenario, it is highly unlikely that you would ever need one. The monitor also comes with a dedicated stand that has ample height, tilt and swivel adjustment options.

So far, ASUS has not announced the price or release date for this particular monitor. However, it is expected that this information will be released soon as the monitor is already listed on the official ASUS website.

nur zu meinem Verständnis: das Ausreizen der 380 Hertz erhöht signifikant das Risiko für Spulenfiepen bei der eingesetzten Grafikkarte?
