AMD could launch a new Radeon RX 7600 XT series graphics card with more memory. The EEC filing suggests that AMD partners are already developing a new Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card, which could be available in 10 GB and 12 GB variants, above the already launched RX 7600. The original RX 7600 without XT comes with 8 GB of memory, but the new version could offer more VRAM to meet the growing demand for more memory. The new graphics card could be interesting for gamers looking for a powerful card on a limited budget.
The decision whether AMD will launch two versions or go for a single version depends on whether the company can develop a different bus interface for the two versions or even take a trimmed down NAVI32 chip (salvage). If AMD doesn’t want to use different chips, then it’s more likely that they’ll just go for a single version that has either 12 GB or 10 GB of memory. The Radeon RX 6750 GRE will also be launched with 12 GB of memory, which suggests that AMD is giving the “GRE” variants a higher priority.

PowerColor is planning a total of four different models of the Radeon RX 7600 XT, ranging from the “Hellhound” to the “Fighter” variants. A release date for the Radeon RX 7600 XT has not yet been announced, but AMD has announced that the RDNA 3 GPU line is now complete and that we could see some variations of the RDNA 3 SKUs within the Radeon RX 7000.
