A little more speed? Gladly! MSI launches new firmware for the MSI Claw

There is new news for MSI Claw handheld fans. The company MSI has rolled out a new firmware update that should bring you a lot of speed and fans can benefit from it. However, this update is also intended to set an example against the ROG Ally from Asus.

According to this, the latest BIOS update, version s E1T41IMS.109 BIOS (referred to as 109) and MSI Center M 1.0.2405.1401 (referred to as 2405.1401), has brought out some more speed. The company states that it has tested some games internally and was able to achieve a lot. Forza Horizon 5, for example, has seen a performance increase of up to 30%, which is quite a lot. However, an increase of 20% has also been achieved for new titles such as Helldivers 2 and long-term active games such as Fortnite. This is also reflected in the FPS figures according to MSI. Up to 90 % better FPS are possible in the game Valheim. Games such as Euro Truck Simulator 2, World of Warships and Dying Light also show better performance. MSI states that it has better FPS in the 100 most popular games than its competitors.

The MSI Claw is MSI’s own handheld. It comes with an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor 155H. An Intel Arc Graphics is installed to match. Up to 64 GB LPDDR5-6400 RAM is possible and an M.2 2230 SSD can be installed as storage. The product was first released on May 8. Graphics were also included and the ROG Ally from ASUS was used as a comparison value. This shows that MSI has better performance than the competition. The company wants to make a clear statement and prove its competitiveness.

We are curious to see how the market will develop. Asus recently announced a new version of its ROG Ally. More specifically, the ROG Ally X. It remains to be seen how it will fare.

Das Unternehmen MSI hat nämlich ein neues Firmware-Update ausgerollt, dass euch einiges an Geschwindigkeit bringen soll und Fans damit gut davon profitieren können. Mit diesem Update will man aber auch ein Zeichen gegen den ROG Ally von Asus setzen. Demnach hat man in seinem neusten BIOS-Update, die Version s E1T41IMS.109 BIOS (bezeichnet als 109) und MSI Center M 1.0.2405.1401 (bezeichnet als 2405.1401) einiges an Geschwindigkeit nochmal herausholen.
