The activation of NVIDIA NIS
There are two ways to use the NIS here. One way is through the NVIDIA Control Panel and the other is through GeForce Experience. Both of which I will briefly introduce to you. Let's start with the first way!
Double click in the Try on NVIDIA settings or however over WIN-Start NVIDIA Contol panel search and then on the "3D settings administer" go! See next picture.
Switch on scaling and sharpening (if you want to see later if it works, check the box Show Overlay). Here you can preset the sharpening. This can also be adjusted "on the fly" in the game – keep calm, that will come later.
Under "Change resolution" you can already see the levels that can be selected as "Pre-Set". But we'll leave it alone here! We leave the settings at native 1440p. Unless someone wants to play in windowed mode, in which case they should choose one of the desired pre-sets.
Which might look something like this. But in the end, that's something everyone has to decide for themselves. Windowed mode = worse system latency, just a reminder!
The second way would be via GeForce Experience, which then looks like this: Open the application and click on the top right (shown in the picture – small red box). In the lower third you will find the image scaling. (big red box)
Here you can also select the pre-sets, in my case for 1440p native resolution, there are these selectable render resolutions.
Here a little bit enlarged shown! You can also adjust the sharpness here, as well as in the Control Panel. If you take a look at the control panel at this point, you'll see that you can virtually write the setting into the control panel via the Geforce Experience path. Now a tip from me, who goes through GeForce Experience and later wants to see the overlay in the game, it is mandatory to go to the control panel and check the box. See picture 1 on this page!
So now you have created the prerequisites for the use of NIS. Now you have to do something about the game settings. Please refer to the next page!
