Overclocking
First of all, the good news: there is still something going on! But I have to push the bad news right away: it’s a little bit at the expense of the socket. In cold condition, this card creates stable up to 2085 MHz, as long as you let the fans fully turn up and use the maximum power target of 117%, as well as manually set 120 MHz more clock time for the GPU. With a normal fan profile, it is still between 1995 and 2010 MHz. This is even more than the Founders Edition achieves maximum in the closed housing.
The memory can also be clocked a little higher, although I would be careful here for certain reasons. But thermally there is still as much air here as in a large-scale cinema. As nice as the automatic overclocking at Turing may be, you can still achieve the slightly better overclocking values in the end.

We see that the difference to the GeForce RTX 2070 Founders Edition is already clear. Due to the cooler operation, the card is even a tick more efficient and if you overclock even further, it is again between 4 and 5 percent, which then additionally come up. This, in turn, is no longer necessarily decisive about any playability, but a nice, because gladly taken side effect, since also the 99. percentile gets better.
