nPerf adds further features to its service

Not so long ago, we reported on the best mobile Internet performance in Germany based on the nPerf evaluations, to whose data we were also able to contribute with our speed test. Now the company has announced further features for nPerf. If you would like to read the evaluation, you can do so here.

According to the report, there are two new functions to look forward to. The first function is an overview map. Here you can see how good the network coverage is for the various providers in different countries. However, you should know that this is data from users who have carried out the test.

In Germany, for example, you can see that Telekom offers extensive coverage. The 5G network is particularly well developed in the west of Germany. In the northeast, towards Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, on the other hand, 5G coverage is very spongy. At o2 you can feel the expansion of the 5G network, but there is still a lot of room for improvement, and at Vodafone it is still relatively moderate.

Another feature is that you also have the option of viewing the final evaluation data from other countries. This gives you the opportunity to see the differences between the individual countries. Here you can see the best mobile Internet performance and, if available, the best landline Internet. In our neighboring country, the Czech Republic, for example, you can see that o2 comes out on top, albeit only just. But in contrast to us, it has a worse record. On the other hand, Germany ranks very poorly if you look at the figures for Switzerland.
