MSI has unveiled its new version of the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. This time, however, not under its Ventus title, which is already available from MSI, but under its new Shadow 3X series. It also comes with a brand new color and it is the first time that MSI uses such a brown color.
What technical specifications can you expect for this product? You will get at least the usual 16 GB of DDR6X memory at your disposal with a speed of 21 Gbps, which runs via a 256-bit bus interface. An AD103 is installed as the graphics unit, which has 8448 core units. The boost clock is 2640 MHz. However, this can be increased considerably via the MSI Center. This allows you to reach up to 2655 MHz, which MSI calls “Extreme Performance”. But the card also consumes a lot of power. The power consumption here is 285 watts.
Let’s get to the cooling solution. Perhaps some of you are wondering what the 3X stands for. This stands for the number of coolers that the graphics card comes with. This means that the card has three fans on board. The fans on the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Shadow 3X are the familiar TORX 4.0 fans.
But let’s move now on to the previously mentioned color. It is now possible to purchase the card in a very special brown color. Quite nice for customers who like especially this color. It should be noted that the card basically has the same technical specifications as the company’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER 16G VENTUS 3X OC. So in principle, it can be said that there is a new design and a new series, but it is almost no different from the other series.
MSI has not yet commented on a possible price or a release on the German market. The Ventus card has currently a street price of 939 euros.
