LG has recently released the full specifications and pricing for three more models of its high-end 4K UltraGear monitor, which were announced back in December last year. These new models, namely the 34GS95QE, the 39GS95QE and the 45GS95QE, all offer an impressive resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. The model names already give an indication of their screen sizes: 34 inch, 39 inch and a massive 45 inch display.
All three monitors are equipped with a curved 800R panel and offer an impressive refresh rate of 240 Hz and an aspect ratio of 21:9. In addition, they feature FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync support, which ensures a smooth and high-quality gaming experience. The typical brightness is 275 cd/m², while the response time of 0.03 ms GtG is extremely fast. The connection options are similar for all models. They each offer two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DP 1.4 port and a USB 3.2 Type B input. There is also at least one pair of Type-A outputs and a headphone jack to ensure comprehensive connectivity.
The stands of the monitors only allow height, tilt and swivel adjustments due to their curved displays. This may be a limitation for some users, but it is still sufficient to allow ergonomic positioning of the screen.
As far as prices are concerned, these models are in the upper price segment. The 34GS95QE starts at 1200 EURO, followed by the 39GS95QE at 1400 EURO and finally the 45GS95QE at 1600 EURO. Given that similar displays with lower refresh rates are available from other manufacturers at significantly lower prices, LG will probably have to offer some attractive discounts to sell these new models in greater numbers. It remains to be seen how customers will react to these high-quality but price-intensive monitors.
