The Somehow In-Between Card: Three GeForce GTX 1070 Ti in Unboxing

The fact that all GeForce GTX 1070 Ti of the individual board partners must be delivered ex works with the same basic and boost clock is only one side. But that there are differences, at least in the case of cooling and power supply, which... Take the well-known cooler of the Gigabyte GTX 1080 Gaming G1, pack it on a shorter PCB and the new card is ready. But why shorter? Well, the Aorus cooler would have been much shorter (and thicker). Only there is without factory overclocking... The three fans of the relatively low card have a rotor diameter of 78 mm, as with the GTX 1070 and 1080 G1 Gaming, and have a rotor diameter of approx. 82 mm. Full The backplate overlaps the greatly shortened board and adapts to the length of the cooler. This allows you to easily reuse existing components. Full A total of three display port ports (1.4a), one HDMI 2.0 port and the mandatory dual-link DVI jack. The slot panel does not offer more on connectors. Full Closed event: Gigabyte pulls down the fan cover at the end of the card completely, so there's nothing to see. With a full 10.5 cm height between the top edge PCI-E slot and the top edge cover, this card should also be available in narrower... The installation length of the card is 28.3 cm from the slot panel to the end of the radiator cover. We also see that the cooling fins are vertically aligned and the overlapping radiator cover directs the airflow slightly to the rear. Full screenWe see in this plan view once again beautifully the shortened board with the single 8-pin power supply connection and the illuminated Gigabyte logo as well as the LED indicator for the passive silent mode in the idle. At 3.5 cm, the map is flat... Although the map is hardly visually different from the two G1 gaming sisters, there were some overlays in the BIOS. But we'll cancel this test for later. Otherwise, the card is likely to be caught somewhere between the two... GS actually stands for Golden Sample. Gainward has known for years the highest overclocked cards. But since there must be no factory overclocking, we have a card in our hands that does not exist kamm and ... The Gainward GTX 1070 Ti Phoenix (we visually hide the GS on the cover) is completely identical to the Palit GTX 1070 Ti JetStream except for the cover and fan cover, as well as differences in warranty duration. The super ... Powerful, crisp and pleasantly quiet. This is how Gainward sees the GTX 1070 Ti Phoenix. The two rotors have a diameter of 95 mm, the opening of 100 mm. Thanks to the metal applications on the front, the card, despite the injection moulding cover, is... Gainward and Palit have not developed anything new, but you rely 1:1 on the components of the in-house GTX 1080. This ranges from the cover, to the radiator, to the board and the backplate. If you know one, you know everyone. The practice... A total of three display port ports (1.4a), one HDMI 2.0 port and the mandatory dual-link DVI jack. The slot panel does not offer more on connectors. Full Also with the Phoenix the lid stays on it, so that there is nothing to see. With its 12.5 cm height between the top edge PCI-E slot and the top edge cover, this card is one of the higher representatives of the graphics guild. If you add the necessary... The installation length of the card is 28.7 cm from the slot panel to the end of the radiator cover. We also see that the cooling fins are vertically aligned and the overlapping radiator cover directs the air flow slightly to the rear, but not cons... We see in this plan view the board with the 8-pin and 6-pin power supply connections as well as the backlit Gainward lettering. At 5 cm, the card is a real 2.5-slot thick ship. Full Although the map is hardly visually different from the two G1 gaming sisters, there were some overlays in the BIOS. But we'll cancel this test for later. Otherwise, the card is likely to be caught somewhere between the two... No OC, no iGame GTX 1070 Ti Vulcan X OC, as the stickers with the serial number on the card suggest. And so the card quickly becomes the iGame GTX 1070 Ti Vulcan X Top. The rest is abundantexotic and a little fancy ... The inserts to the graphics menu are versatile. In addition to an original Chinese "Swiss Pocket Knife", there is a matching bit set and a few gloves in Asian one size. So rather something for children. Packaging and presentation can be... The iGame GTX1070Ti Vulcan X Top is the most massive and elaborately designed card, which is also characterized by a valuable material selection, lots of additional features, such as. the display with the clock display and a good workmanship quality shines... The front of the iGame GTX 1070 Ti Vulcan X Top is dominated by two 85mm fans and an 80mm fan. The material mix of cool light metal and matted plastic is also fine. Full The very elaborately designed backplate still carries the OC sticker, but probably only until the first load of cards is sold. Full A total of two display port ports (1.4a), two HDMI 2.0 ports and the mandatory dual-link DVI jack. The slot panel does not offer more on connectors. But there is also a turbo button that chases all fans to maximum speed. Vo... The "back" of the card looks aggressive and styled down to the last detail. Whether one likes such a thing is left to everyone. With its 12.5 cm height between the top edge PCI-E slot and the top edge cover, this card is also one of the higher... The installation length of the card is at least 30.4 cm from the slot panel to the end of the radiator cover. We see that the cooling fins are vertically aligned and the overlapping radiator cover directs the airflow slightly to the rear. Full We see in this plan view the board with the two 8-pin power supply connectors as well as a display for the memory clock and other things. At 5 cm, the card is a real 2.5-slot thick ship. Full Beauty and/or effort certainly come at a price, unfortunately. But if you dare, you will at least get a GeFoce GTX 1070 Ti, which is still a little different from all the brothers and sisters who are connected. What Nvidia thought with this card, where the price point will lie and what potential might lie in it (or not) - soon we will be smarter. Until then, it's time to wait and wait, whether We're going to have Nvidia mi...

The fact that all GeForce GTX 1070 Ti of the individual board partners must be delivered ex works with the same basic and boost clock is only one side. But that there are differences, at least in the case of cooling and power supply, the other. All cards are the same? Well, unfortunately we have to remain silent about the specifications, because today only pure unboxing is allowed. So we avoid speculation and supposedly-supposed specifications, but one can already assume that the data collated is correct – with small exceptions. And that's exactly what we want to place a little teaser for.

Interesting is the price, which Nvidia as An EIA with 469 Euro incl. Vat. Indicates. However, this is already in the range of the cheapest GeForce GTX 1080, which could in the end put this card into question again. We will be curious to see how road prices will develop.
