Computex 2023 – Day two with even more videos and interesting visits

Computex 2023 is definitely an event not to be missed, so let’s take a look at some moments from this legendary tech show. First of all, yes, there was the return of physical presence, with some of the exhibitors seemingly forgetting how to do such a thing in the first place. You’d have thought they were organizing a home-office zoom conference instead of running a booth.

I’m still sore from yesterday, but it’s no use, I’ve got to keep running to keep you up to date. And that’s exactly why I ended up at Raijentek. Good Tony has really made an effort.

And on we go. The crowds at Computex 2023, a truly unforgettable sight! Amidst the flashing LEDs and blinking screens, there was a sea of people moving as tenaciously as syrup in Antarctica. It was like a giant, slow-paced game of “catch the hat,” except everyone wanted to keep their own hats and the hats were basically expensive, high-tech gadgets. Or so…. And there was also the booth of be quiet!

The crowd often formed lines that looked like spaghetti on a map. Where they started or ended, no one really knew. Most people probably stood in line for hours without even knowing what was waiting for them at the end of the line.And Nils was waiting for me at the Seasonic booth:

Lian Li? There was something… Right! The one with the Galahad AiO aspect watercoolers. After Jameson, the owner, greeted me a bit sourly, an employee was allowed to show me the new products. And besides very eye-pleasing signs of exactly where what was coming from, there happened to be Asetek employees at the booth. A tease and all…

Computer cases, the ultimate expression of waste and high-performance PC snobbery, have become a curious status symbol in the tech world. They’re no longer just there to hold your precious components together. No, they are now a shining (mostly literal) expression of your unique style and taste.

You have to understand that it’s extremely important that your PC looks like an alien spaceship or a modern work of art. And of course, it must be equipped with enough RGB LEDs to light up a small village. More expensive is always possible, and that’s how you quickly end up with InWin.

The flood of people streaming through the aisles was reminiscent of morning traffic in a big city: a mix of purposeful marching through, sudden stops, surprising turns and the occasional exasperated exclamation, “I lost sight of the goal!”

There was also that one kind of people who always stood in line, no matter what for. New product presentation? You’re in. Free stickers? Absolutely. Restrooms? Sure, why not. They’re the real heroes of Computex, willing to wait hours just to see or get the latest shiny tech trinket. Or else to admire a keyboard you can plug together yourself. If you’ve booked an appointment, you’ve got the edge there

Ah, ultra-light gaming mice, the latest darlings of the gaming industry. Did you know that what matters most in gaming is how light your mouse is? Forget gameplay skills, tactics or teamwork. It’s all a matter of how light your mouse is. Obviously.

These mice are so light, you might forget you even have one in your hand. And of course, that’s the ultimate goal, isn’t it? Who wants to endure the weight of a heavy, massive 100-gram mouse? It’s almost like working with a small, portable dumbbell. Absolutely unbearable. Endgame Gear had a real solution there….

Oh, and there are expensive motherboards, the glamorous supermodels of the PC world. Who needs functional, inexpensive hardware when you can instead spend a fortune on a piece of technology that flashes more than a Christmas tree on steroids?

They’re high-fashion accessories, artfully designed to turn the insides of your computer into a technological runway show. Let’s not forget about RGB lighting either. A motherboard like this should be able to put on a full disco in your room.Ok, I wasn’t trying to be that evil, so buy, buy buy….

The great thing about ultralight laptops is that they are so light, you might forget you have one in your bag. Yes, you could accidentally walk all the way to work only to realize that you forgot your laptop at home – only to realize that it was in your bag the whole time after all! A real advantage, right? Which brings me to the last video for today.
