According to a user on the Hardwareluxx forum, motherboard manufacturers have released new AGESA BIOS updates for their AM5 motherboards rather unnoticed. The latest BETA BIOS comes from ASUS, who were the first to release 1.1.0.2a for their product range. This update provides improved support for AMD Ryzen 8000G APUs. The two main changes include the update to the AMD ComboAM5 1102a RC1 and improvements in overall system and platform performance. In addition, the new update fixes some of the reported issues with missing M.2 devices.

Some motherboard manufacturers like Gigabyte have recently released the AGESA 1.1.0.1a BETA BIOS for their AM5 motherboards. The new AMD AGESA 1.1.0.2a AM5 BIOS firmware update adds an update to the SMU Checker that specifically targets the Ryzen 8000G desktop APUs, according to the HardwareLuxx forums.
Later this month, the AMD Ryzen 8000G APUs will be introduced. They are compatible with the existing AM5 mainboards. Their focus is mainly on the mainstream and budget segment. Nevertheless, it is pleasing to see that there is also support for higher-end motherboards, for users who want to use these chips on such boards.
