Today the time has finally come, I have the first VA panel in my test. This means that I have now tested all the current display types. Introducing the Cooler Master GA271. I wouldn’t normally take a look at this monitor, but the RRP of 159.90 euros immediately got me interested. A monitor with a resolution of 2560 x 1440p and 100 Hz refresh rate, I have to see it.
My thought was that there are many readers who are looking for something like this. Maybe not necessarily as a main monitor, but perhaps as an office or second device. For the streaming setup? Or maybe there are beginners in the 1440p gaming sector who have to look at every euro. What do you think, should I look at budget monitors more often?
When it comes to packaging, I see a risk of damage during transportation if not handled properly. The polystyrene parts are quite thin and if the packaging falls down, the display will probably suffer. If you buy the monitor, please unpack it and take pictures for documentation. Better safe than sorry… To Cooler Master: are you sure that this can’t become a major RMA campaign? Well, maybe I’ve just become too paranoid.
As always, we’ll start with the manufacturer’s specifications and work our way through the program. If you want to have a look at Cooler Master: Click here!

That reads so unexaggerated, almost honestly – doesn’t it? So what’s the catch here? For this reason, let’s take a closer look at “the device”.
