Hi,
I am failing to update Gigabyte 5700 XT. The same procedure updates the BIOS on MSI cards with no problem. I follow the instructions on Igors Lab.

The sign of having trouble with the card bios flash shows in GPU-Z. After flash using amdvbflash the values of GPU and memory frequencies is empty. With stock bios there are Mhz frequencies.

Is there any known problems with flashing Gigabyte cards?
Any suggestions on what other forums I may ask for assistance?
Is it possible that the OEM bios is signed, and any modified bios will be rejected?
If the bios is signed, any tools to resign, or would I need to buy a card from a different vendor?

Thanks,

Alley Cat

@Mini_Me

I didn't understand something....
I saw your post again and the ratio calculation is:

CORE / VDD - Must be below ~1.80 (preferred 1.76, default is 1.70)
MEMORY CLOCK / VDDCI - Must be ~2.14
MEMORY CLOCK / MVDD - Must be ~1.39

In hiveos my config is set by:
C1380 / CV780 / VDDCI850 / M910 / MVDD 1350

So, do you think that the ratio from memory clock with mvdd is correct?
I'm receiving ~1.34 (1.348148143) from the above config.

Yes the ratio is perfect, you can increase the core clock to 1390 MHz, VDD 780 or 790 mV for a bit more hashrate.

Oh, this is so addicted!
I managed to put 56 on each card, all synchronized in hashrate. Although I didn't touch the sapphire blower, cuz the increase didn't affect at all.

Position 0 is: C1390 / CV785 / VDDCI850 / M910 / MVDD 1350 / SOCF 957
Position 1 to 2 is: C1400 / CV785 / VDDCI850 / M910 / MVDD 1350 / SOCF 957
At the wall - 428W

The core clock of 1400 MHz is not needed with memory clock at 910 MHz, the core clock of 1390 MHz is the max hashrate you can get at memory clock 910 MHz as already stated in the guide to keep the gap between core clock and memory clock at 480 for best ratio.

I really can't get one unit to get stable, this asus junk can't get pass 890 on memory frequency to get stable! Unbelievable...
I don't want to lose my mind with this, I'm one step to get all down and place my default value of 54 mh 24/7 stable. Really annoying!

I've removed the soc setting from panel, now the trm report is 950 from sapphire and 1266 from both asus dual evo. 🧑‍🦽

If the memory clock at 910 MHz or below by default the SoC clock will be at 950 MHz, Memory clock more than 915 MHz then the SoC clock will be 1086 MHz and trm setting it at 1266 MHz I believe for better power curve.

Is working fine now without soc frequency. This is the case of, don't fix what ain't broke. I will see the results tomorrow.

I think it is wanted, there are interests, to get ETH 1k euro! I didn't expect it to grow that much!
