Question how to lower memory temp on MSI 5700 XT MECH OC?

You need to either change the thermal pads or lower the memory frequency.

You can lower the memory clock until the desired temperature is achieved.

When i use windows 10 with my 5700xt attached using riser or attached directly to the board, screen goes black, white, gray, red, green and blue. Whats wrong with that?

First please reflash your original backup vbios and then you can do what you like.

Have you tried the washer mod (for GPU) or replaced thermal pads for memory? Maybe brand of thermal pads are the issue for memory? I'm having some high memory temps on my Micron cards and I'm gonna pull the card apart and replace the pads on the memory -- and since replacing memory pads will mess up the GPU thermal pad, I'm gonna clean the GPU pad and use paste.

Personally -- I went ahead and ordered plastic 1MM thick washers, M2 screws, Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 Thermal Pad, 100 × 100 × 1.0 mm, Thermal Grizzly Minus Pad 8 Thermal Pad, 100 × 100 × 2.0 mm, and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Thermal Grease Paste - 11.1 Grams.
