Dear gentlemen,

I have issue with one of my GPUs mentioned in topic already. I tried all known solutions including: programming BIOS from Windows and DOS and even direct BIOS reprogramming with SPI programmer. Card does not block PC from booting however presents itself as Standard VGA device despite that appropriate drivers are installed. I can read status with result:

c: \ Install \ BIOS_original \ Gigabyte_RX5700XT \ SNxxxxxxxxx> amdvbflash.exe -i

Flash Type: SOC15 SPI (256 KB)
No VBIOS

Each attempt to write bios ends with BIOS read error message and code 0FL01 either on windows and DOS.

(Also I had a similar issue on two another cards with same symptoms but I was able to resolve without even involving SPI programmer and cards are in service already.)

Is anything else what I can try?

Any help is appreciated.

If your card has Micron memory, then please reflash it using Gigabyte official vbios in the kindly attached link below,


If your card has Samsung memory then please inform me whenever it is possible.

Thanks for responding.
This card has already Micron memory and tried flash one with every available flashing tool and several BIOSes. Unfortunately result is the same every single time as below. Just wonder why SSID is 7310 where I think should be 731F (I see 731F on other same cards already) . I did flash with SPI programmer (I can read, write, erase flash without issues). Tried also upload BIOS dumped from other card.
Be honest I have no idea. I can try on x16 slot however I am not sure that it help. Programming with pins 1+8 shorten also tested.

Greetings and welcome,

Please disable Secure boot and enable CSM (Legacy OS) boot mode in the motherboard bios setting then reflash the gpu again.

Hi, I have this same issue, but i downloaded the Gigabyte official vbios linked above, and now the flash type is "P25Q80H"

When i try to flash it says "BIOS authentication signature mismatched" "Error 0FL01"

What can I do?
