Und da das Auge bekanntlich mehr erfasst, als es einem lieb ist, müssen wir auch noch einmal über die Varianzen reden. 100 FPS müssen nicht 100 FPS dein, wenn anstelle von 100 gleich schnell gerenderten dann 50 ganz schnell gerenderte, 40 schnell gerenderte und 10 lahmende Frames zu sehen sind. Das ist eine eher unrunde Geschichte, die man als Varianz bezeichnet, also den Zeitunterschied, den zwei aufeinanderfolgende Frames aufweisen. Das wiederum muss man als Balkendiagramm darstellen.
