Viele Grafikkarten bieten eine wirklich gute Leistung in Rise of the Tomb Raider bei 2560×1440 Pixeln, selbst wenn 2x SSAA die jeweiligen Bildraten beeinflussen. Wenn Sie jedoch speziell ein sehr schnelles QHD-Display mit hoher Bildwiederholrate erworben haben, nähert sich nur die GeForce RTX 2080 Ti bei diesen Einstellungen den 100 FPS. Das sind immerhin noch 25% mehr Leistung, als sie eine GeForce GTX 1080 Ti bietet.

Viele Spieler glauben ja, dass 4K die Notwendigkeit von Anti-Aliasing ausschließt. Experimentiert aber ruhig mal mit FXAA oder SMAA in Rise of the Tomb Raider, wenn ihr wollt und bildet Euch eine eigene Meinung. In diesem Test wurde 2x SSAA jedoch bewusst deaktiviert, um die Ergebnisse in einem sinnvollen Rahmen zu halten.
Während die GeForce GTX 1080 Ti durchschnittlich mehr als 60 FPS erreicht, ist es viel einfacher, das Ergebnis der GeForce RTX 2080 Ti mit über 80 FPS einzuordnen. Sie zahlen allerdings eine kräftige Prämie für diesen 23-%igen Vorteil. Im Gegenzug dazu ist das hochauflösende und qualitativ hochwertige Gameplay jedoch wirklich angenehm und wer sich einmal daran gewöhnt hat, will es sicher nicht mehr missen.
