The SPECapc for Solidworks 2019 Benchmark is a performance evaluation software for vendors and users of computer systems using Solidworks 2019 CAD/CAM software on Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit platforms. It includes 10 updated and new tests that cover a full range of graphics and CPU functionality. The graphics tests within the benchmark that are relevant to us measure performance in both standard and advanced graphics modes, which I will measure in detail on the next page.
The benchmark includes sequence-independent transparency (OIT), a methodology for rapid transparency display, and full scene anti-aliasing (FSAA) for high quality visuals. I deliberately did not use the standard anti-aliasing (only edges/sketches), but instead relied exclusively on FSAA for both tests (including the one with the enhanced graphics). Individual results are generated for each test and calculated at the end of the composite for graphics performance. I have not measured this software with consumer cards due to the drivers and missing certification
