Perhaps some of you have already experienced it: you find a product at a seemingly low price, are happy about the supposed bargain and order it. When the parcel finally arrives, everything looks fine on the outside and there is great anticipation of having made a cheap but great catch. But then comes the nasty surprise, where everyone starts to sweat, because the product in no way meets expectations.

This is exactly what happened to a customer of YouTuber Northwestrepair. He had ordered a graphics card, but what he ultimately received had little to do with a functioning card. After removing a few inferior screws, the full extent of the fraud became apparent. Showing is an elastic term, because almost nothing was visible. Important components such as the GB202 graphics chip were completely missing, they had obviously been forcibly removed. All memory modules had also been removed. This means that the most important and also most expensive parts were removed by the fraudsters, who then sold the “empty” graphics card on at a price that made customers think they had made a good catch
According to the customer, the card was purchased from a Chinese supplier for around 2000 US dollars. A price that at first glance seemed like a real bargain compared to current market prices. But what was delivered was ultimately just an expensive piece of electronic waste.
If you find something that is normally more expensive in official stores, then it is advisable to analyze and assess the site carefully. How reputable does it look and can the device really be sold on so cheaply? You should always be aware of the risk that you may have been cheated and end up with no original part or, in this case, an empty case that you may be able to use as decoration. Mind you, this is a somewhat expensive decoration.
